  27. AmiTCP goes through a few stages on URL lookup...

  29. First, it 'Looks Up' the URL. Then, it 'Makes Contact' to the URL. Then it
  30. 'Sends Request' to the URL. Then it 'Waits For Reply' from the URL. Finally it
  31. loads.

  33. If your problem is in the first, 'Looking Up URL', stage, your Nameserver is
  34. probably entered incorrectly.

  36. If you problem is in the second, 'Contacting URL', stage, your problem is most
  37. likely your IP address. Now it gets confusing. You're best off emailing with
  38. your setup because there's way to many variables to mention. Is your system on
  39. SLIP, PPP, or some kind of SLIP/PPP emulation like TIA? Is your system address
  40. dynamic (do they change every time you login)? Do other programs like FTP and
  41. telnet work?
